Since 14 December 2025, the new Koralmbahn railway line has connected Graz and Klagenfurt in just 42 minutes. The Carinthian capital is now faster and easier to reach from Graz than ever before. Numerous direct connections make Klagenfurt the perfect destination for day trips and weekend getaways.<\/p>\n

The Koralmbahn railway makes easy day trips between Graz and Klagenfurt possible: instead of taking almost three hours, the journey now takes only around 40 minutes. The Carinthian capital is now also quicker to reach from Vienna: the journey takes only about three hours \u2013 roughly the same as the journey from Salzburg to Klagenfurt. With 29 daily connections on the railway line between Graz and Klagenfurt and 26 direct connections from Vienna, Klagenfurt is thus well connected to the Austrian rail network.<\/p>\n

\nTaxis are available at the station forecourt. The journey to the city centre takes about 5 minutes, depending on traffic.<\/p>\n
